About the coach

Andrey Vasilievich Bushkov is a World Champion, two-time European Champion and Olympic-level figure skater in pair skating. Competing with Marina Eltsova, he represented the Soviet Union and Russia at the highest international level and became one of the leading pair skaters of his generation. After completing his competitive career, Andrey Vasilievich moved into coaching and gained extensive international experience, working with skaters of different ages and competitive levels. He is a highly experienced specialist in jump technique, technical preparation and the development of correct skating mechanics. His coaching approach is based on a step-by-step system of preparatory exercises that helps skaters safely master complex elements, improve take-off quality, air position, rotation and landing control. This method allows athletes to build stable, technically correct jumps while reducing the risk of injury.
