Skating Skills, Programs & Step Sequences Specialist Nikita Pchelyakov is a skating skills coach working with leading single skaters in Saint Petersburg. According to Match TV, he works as a skating coach in the teams of Alexei Mishin and Valentina Chebotareva; in Mishin’s group, he has worked with Evgeny Semenenko, Gleb Lutfullin and Roman Khamzin. Before coaching, Nikita competed in ice dance and trained in strong Russian ice dance environments, including the groups of Alexander Zhulin and Angelika Krylova. This background allows him to bring a deep understanding of edges, flow, body movement, rhythm and overall skating quality into his work with single skaters. Nikita’s work focuses on skating skills, step sequences, program quality and the complete impression of the performance.
