About the coach

Sergei Aleksandrovich Rozanov (born October 20, 1989) is a Russian figure skating coach and choreographer. He competed in men’s singles, but did not achieve any major success. After retiring from competitive skating, he took part in ice shows by Tatyana Tarasova and Ilya Averbukh, and also gave private skating lessons. In 2017, at the invitation of Daniil Gleikhengauz, he joined Eteri Tutberidze’s coaching team. Rozanov mainly coached juniors and novices, working with them on difficult multi-rotation jumps. Among his novice skaters was Sofya Akatieva. Another of his students, Alena Kostornaia, noted that it was Rozanov who helped her learn the triple Axel.
